The contradiction upon contradictions that is being a mother. Wasn’t it wasn’t it just yesterday my womb  was full of love and life and I imagined your faces. Wasn’t it wasn’t it that I said just yesterday , you I will protect with so much love you tiny littler love monster. Wasn’t it wasn’t it? I SAID, WASNT IT!?

Yesterday.

Wasn’t it, yesterday I held you over my shoulder after burping you, wasn’t it just yesterday that I found every excuse to fall asleep with you in my arms. WASNT IT? I was it had to be, because I can touch that moment and every single one right after.

And by God. By God I pray that I can continue to taste them all…..because of you I am here and because of you I am better!!!!
