The man was lost

I went high on a mountain

to find me the cure

I went high on a mountain

to see if it was for sure

I go to the mountain

to keep looking

to keep searching

the want

the need

i can’t seem to find the cure

I know I think I did see it there for sure

To my awe and disappointment, I am the mountain, I am the cure.

I go to the mountain, there I find peace, as a discover who I want to be.

I can’t tell you how many times I have climbed up only to fall down and be told by all the forces that be, that until I let go, what I seek, I won’t find.  That my job is to work toward the peace, and the piece I want.  To obsess and look for it and beg and cry and scream, won’t make it happen any faster.  Patience and focus toward it, self love and understanding brings us all closer to it.  Whether it’s love, health, travel, peace, money…It all takes time, hard work, perseverance, and a lot of faith, a lot of magic.

Don’t you go missing what life really has to offer, the magic of every single moment, just for the means to an end.  It’s not about the means to an end, its about the process, the ride that gets you there.  The bumpier, and I knew this as a child, the better, the more you know is real and the happier you are because you can understand it all better.  I used to pray, as a little girl, to god, for him to make it harder on me, because I didn’t want to miss the good things, I didn’t want to take them for granted.  I thought, I knew, how do you know and appreciate what you have that is good, unless you know how hard it was to get there, or how bad of a ride you might of had.  I understand it diferetntky now, I know that its about perspective in the end, but, perspective is shaped by experience and growth.

There is so much that I seek and yarn for, well, three main things, and i keep praying for them, I keep working on myself, my career, my little untraditional family, we are unstoppable.  LOVE, most of all, LOVE, and from it, at the depths of all our souls, that’s our light, we are here to make it shine, lead the man that is lost, let him find the light, for all of us together, we are the mend in the world, we are the cure, WE ARE THE MOUNTAIN!
